HESPA is celebrating the release of its interesting and timely publication, Higher Education Strategy and Planning: a professional guide. The book, published by Routledge, was edited by Dr Tony Strike (University of Sheffield and the HESPA Executive), and produced along with contributors from the strategic planning community, to offer professional guidance to new staff in this field. It also captures a snapshot of higher education as it is now – something which may prove valuable in years to come, considering the changing nature of the sector.
Professor Sir Ian Diamond, Vice-Chancellor, University of Aberdeen, said of the book: “With chapters from some of the superstars of university planning across the globe, sometimes in partnership with colleagues from other parts of the institution, it provides a delightful tour through all the key areas of university planning.”
The book can be ordered from the Routledge website and a 20% discount code for HESPA, BUFDG, and other PHES members can be obtained from Jen.
