Liam has over 30 years’ experience working in Higher Education in Northern Ireland. His current role as Planning manager in Queen’s University includes responsibility for statutory reporting (Yes DF!).
This included advising on strategy and direction for Data Futures projects spanning Planning, Registry, Project Development, and Information Services teams and liaising with Oracle (Software provider), and HESA/JISC as required. In his role as the key liaison with the Department for the Economy Liam has developed strong working relationships with funders and has actively engaged in consultations and discussions regarding funding data, allocations, and policies. Outside the workplace, in the summer months, Liam can be found on the bowling green.
