HESPA Awards 2021

05 November 2020      Jen Summerton, Executive Director

We are delighted to be reopening nominations for our popular Annual HESPA Awards!

Our awards were developed to highlight excellence, innovation and dedication and pose an opportunity to support the professionalisation and recognition of strategic planners, while motivating colleagues and boosting morale.

Please complete this nomination form to submit your application, on behalf of an individual or team. All the information you need should be contained in the nomination form, but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

In previous years we have allowed nominations to go into multiple categories, however this has made judging more difficult. To ensure a fair process, we are now asking that if you wish to enter for more than one category, you submit separate nominations for each. This isn’t intended to prohibit or restrict multiple entries from one member institution, it just makes the scoring system simpler and fairer.

The deadline for submissions is Friday 28th May 2021 and winners will be announced during HESPA21 conference week, 21-25 June. More details to follow.

The categories for the awards are as follows:

Covid Response Award

For planners who have been heavily involved in supporting their institution in its response to the impact of the pandemic

Data Award

For snazzy BI and analytics work as well as overall engagement with extra curricula innovation in the sector

Strategy Award

For best institutional strategy development and implementation

Paul Youngson Award

In memory of an excellent planner and treasured colleague, the Paul Youngson Award will be presented to those who have made an outstanding contribution to the strategic planning community, including HESPA and its members.

We wish the best of luck to all applicants, and we look forward to announcing the winners and celebrating together (virtually) at HESPA21.
