Turning data into strategic insight: Using Data Futures as a launchpad
We are using the implementation of Data Futures as a catalyst to begin this data journey, but the learning you will gain from this course is transferrable beyond Data Futures. The first step is a good data strategy. This course, designed and delivered by Alex Leigh and Rav Ubhi-Adams, will help you to build a map, from where you are now, to support you to create a compelling narrative to explain “why” and “why now” to decision makers, and give you the framework and tools you need to develop and implement your new data strategy.
Who is this course for?
Designed for planning directors or other senior planning staff who are already charged with leading the university’s approach to delivering Data Futures both now, and in the future as we move to near real-time data provision for regulators and funders.
What will attendees leave with?
After the in person day, attendees will have the framework and supporting templates to create a data strategy, gain buy in from their senior colleagues on the value of prioritising this work and have an outline plan for delivering it. There will also be the opportunity for 1:1 discussions with those experts delivering the course.
