This session sets the scene on the shifting regulatory landscape for disability and reasonable adjustments in HE, rising disclosure rates, increasing complexity of need, and growing regulatory expectation, including the forthcoming OfS Statement of Expectations on disability (due early 2027). It then turns to how University of Lancashire is responding in practice: embedding inclusive adjustment within Curriculum Transformation and the move to Block Teaching, preparing for LLE and modular delivery, closing the gap between policy and practice, extending assurance to delivery partners, and progressing towards the Disabled Students Commitment.
